Default Carnival Liberty, Round 2

Well, I'm off bright and early tomorrow headin' to Miami for 2 days pre-cruise.
Saturday morning I'll be getting on Carnival Liberty for a repeat of last spring break, minus boys & bad islands.
This year we're doing the Eastern Caribbean, which I love.
We're meeting up with 7 other people we've met on past cruises. That calls for more matching shirts - lime green. You won't miss us.
We're touring with Bernard again in St. Maarten, who's since become a close friend of my moms.
St. Thomas we have a Catamaran for the day for some snorkling, sun, and lunch.
Oh, can't forget San Juan. We're there from 5pm-Midnight, which makes for quite the big adventure to Senor Frogs !
That's what we have planned as of now.
The weather's looking alright so far, Oasis will be with us in two ports, my suitcase is underweight for once, and I'm not freaking out too bad about the flight (yet).
This is looking like it'll be another great cruise!

I'll have my laptop with me, and will probably be updating on facebook when I get a chance. & I'm sure there'll be a few hundred pictures when I return.

Okay. I am too when I see something I like

wow that stinks but not really because you are going on a cruise. Mine was last week (it's always revolved around when Easter) is which I guess is good

Wow, hard to believe we're still in Spring Break season. I finish the year in 13 days. On the plus side, it is a cruise, no boy drama, and you'll be chillin with friends. And not to mention senor frogs in San Juan. Sounds like a perfect vacation to me.

I'm back, complete with a sprained arm&shoulder !
The cruise was alright, nothing too great, but not bad either.
The weather was bad for the first 3 1/2 days. First time I've had bad weather, but I realize it's out of our control. I met a few kids the first night, but it was a pretty calm group, maybe 40 total. I didn't really use the teen activities as much as previous cruises, but it worked out okay. I spent most of my time on the ship resting. It was a nice break from at home. The ship and the service were both great, the food was always tasty, and there was always plenty to do. I took a little over 400 pictures, and at least 50-100 of Oasis. As soon as they're edited they'll be posted on facebook.

Puerto Rico - Senor Frogs was a blast, as always. We were there for about four hours. Unfortunately it was raining pretty bad & my mom didn't want to carry the camera off the ship, so I don't have any pictures.

St. Thomas - We decided not to go on our catamaran tour since the weather was pretty bad in the morning. From what the others told us we made the right decision. Mom & I spent the day in the port area, and went downtown for a little while. The downtown area was a little scary, so we didn't stay long. The cab driver back decided to stop and get his daughter some mangos, but they weren't ready yet, so he never got them. I found that a little odd, but he got us back to the ship in one piece! We got on the ship about 3 hours before we had to, so I spent the afternoon enjoying the first sign of sun & trying out the water slide.

St. Maarten - Oasis was docked next to us. Holy cow that ship is huge! I spent the majority of my morning taking pictures of it. We toured with Bernard for the day. We spent about 2 hours on Pinnel Island, which is a three minute ferry ride from the main land. It was a little piece of paradise w/ a private beach, chair rentals, a few bars and restaurants, snorkeling, and a few little shops. The island isn't lived on, the workers just go over for the day. For $15 USD you got 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, and 2 free drinks (multiple bar drinks or soda). You look across the water and can see Orient Beach. I would definitely recommend going there if ever given the chance! It seems to be on of St. Maarten's best kept secrets since there weren't many tourists at all. From there, we went over to Maho for the afternoon to see the planes. I didn't jump out of the van in fear this time, and was able to get a few good pictures. It was a really nice day.

Last but not least, we booked another cruise! Carnival Dream for next year. April 17, 2011. I'm so excited to see the new ship & have my first cruise being 18 be on a Carnival Ship. It's going to Belize, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Isla Roatan. I've never been to Costa Maya or Roatan, but from what I've researched they seem nice. Anyone else want to go?

Well, I think that's about it. I'm not going to go into crazy detail about the ship since not much has changed from last year, but if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!
