Default First Time Cruiser

My Financee and i are going on our first cruise ever on the September 28 Rhapsody of The Seas Western Caribbean cruise leaving from Galveston, Texas. This cruise will be our honeymoon and I was wondering if anyone out there had any good advice for first time cruisers going on a honeymoon. Any info would be appreciated.

Stuart,

The most important advice, especially for your first cruise on any line, is to read the information booklets and packages that the cruise line provides to you very carefully, make sure that you understand what they say, and bring appropriate attire consistent with the information in the package. For example, if the pre-cruise information indicates that there will be two formal nights on your cruise, be sure to bring appropriate formalwear (a tuxedo or dark business suit for you and an evening gown or a formal cocktail dress for your bride).

The second most important advice is to bring a sweater or perhaps a sport coat that you can wear on casual evenings if the air conditioning in the dining room, the show room, or any of the lounges where you might want to hang out is overbearing.

Apart from that, just relax and let the cruise line take care of everything for you.

Norm.
