I really wish that I was going to college now! Instead I have to wait two years. My best friend and I were talking and said that if we both get into UVA together that we will be roommates so I hope that happens but I wish I didnt have to wait 2 years to see if it does

Soooo Im going to Skidmore College... yes its in Saratoga, where I live, and its about 5 min away from home haha. Im gonna live on campus though. I applied to 5 schools (Skidmore, Vassar, Bard, Colgate, and U of Miami), and Skidmore was the only one i got in to. It was realllyyy tough this year. They had 6000 applicants and 600 spaces. I got waitlisted at Miami, and denied from the others haha. Its ok. Skidmore was my #1 choice, so it works out. =]

Yay!! My school is less than an hour away, so its a lot closer to home than I was planning. My 2nd choice was 5 hrs away, and the 3rd choice was out of state , but I got into my 1st choice that just happened to be kinda close. Its all good because I'm doing the same, living on campus, so its not like it will feel like I'm anywhere near home. And I will finally be living in a city, not a suburb anymore! WOOHOO! haha

Congrats Kristina! Like 2 or 3 people from my school are going there, maybe you'll meet them.

And I'm excited I go to orientation on Monday to pick classes! And my roommate will be there to so I'm excited to meet her in person.

I figured that I would reply since I will be a junior too. I am looking at University of Virginia, James Madison University, College of William and Mary, and Virginia Tech for undergrad and then either UVA, Duke, or Johns Hopkins for Med School if I can get in

I just finished grade nine, and this past year my teachers and guidance councilors already had us thinking about university. Seems kind of early to me, seeing as we're only fourteen/fifteen years old...

But I want to go to Ryerson, McGill, or Western. All Canadian schools so you guys probably haven't heard of them. My dream school is the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Unlikely that's gonna happen, though.

Congrats dude, when you get there, look up Will Curran, he's a friend of mine from the DJ industry and I guarantee you'll see him. He's the crazy skinny dude whose company is involved in every event held on campus and there is ALWAYS a party going on at ASU.

Charleston Southern University is a private college in Charleston South Carolina. Its not particularly a small college, just not public. My only real reasoning for choosing them is that they gave me a full ride, everything included, and it's pretty hard to say no to almost $100,000. Plus, that leaves lots of pent up college money that can be spent other places...

I actually have NO IDEA! I don't really know what I'd like to do yet either. But I do know that I want to go to school somewhere either in the northern east coast (but out of new jersey) or the west coast.

Marketing is where its at man! Especially if you go into specialized fields of marketing. Your guaranteed to get a solid career out of it.

Moving far from home is always fun. I'm moving something like 18 hours away.

I wish I could move that far away but that's impossible unless I leave the country..nothing here is more than like 6 hours away cos I live in the middle of the UK ha.

Well I just started summer classes today. Assuming I pass both classes this summer, I'll be behind one course by the start of the fall semester instead of behind by three . I'm still at SUNY Maritime in the Bronx, NY studying ship design. What sucks is, it's 5 weeks, 4 days a week, 9am-3pm each day.

Getting the acceptance letter on your 18th birthday is also a great feeling.

My acceptance letters were my Christmas presents...I had all of them before Christmas. And then as a Spring Break gift I got a scholarship letter too (caused more trouble than happiness, but was still great to be awarded something)

It was amazing to know where I was going WAYYYY ahead of everyone else! Especially since it was my "reach" school and my early decision school! The only things I would change right now about school, are my crazy major requirements and the fact that it's a pretty tough school so it's hard to do everything I want and keep up my grades to keep me in my major
