Question Crew accommodation

Can i ask my cruise company if there is a supplement or solution behind wanting my own single berth cabin whilst working aboard a cruise ship???

I absolutely need my privacy and time to myself... including cleanliness and quiet after a long day.

dont really see it as a problem however want some advice before approaching my cruise company as unsure whether this is controversial or not. I also understand that space is limited and sharing is the only way to squeeze as many staff in as possible.

I am willing to pay if this is how they would do it.

Anyone experience this?

Bless your heart. If your job entitlement is a shared cabin, you get a shared cabin. If you 'pay' - that will most like be considered an unethical business practice. Apply for a job with a single cabin entitlement? Work hard, get a promotion to that single entitlement? Shared cabins are the rite of passage if you want a career on ships.
