Default Life alert type of thing?

I'm going to be taking my 90 year old grandma on a cruise for the first time in 2 months. I am really excited, but nervous at the same time. She is wheel chair bound and I'm just wondering how accessible the boat will be for her. Also, she lives in a nursing home and so she has constant attention at night. On the ship, she will be staying in her own room. I'm considering getting a medical alert bracelet for her so that I can sleep with peace of mind at night while cruising. Does anyone know if something like that will work on a boat? Has anyone purchased for alert one? I want a review before I buy anything. Thanks for any advice!

the ships are very accomodating and accessible for wheelchair bound passengers, your ta will make all the necessary arrangements with the cruise line.
Your best bet for peace of mind while your grandmother sleeps is to either have someone stay with her in her cabin or to have a baby monitor in her cabin and the receiver in yours. The first alert type things require a hook-up to phone land-line, and the only phone service available on a ship is either cell or satilite

Will your grandmother be in a handicapped cabin? They have panic buttons for emergencies, and I would agree, having someone in there would give you both, peace of mind.

Also, make sure you put the chair in the cabin at night, sometimes left outside, they dissappear

Trip, with her book & tea!
