Re: public diaper changing

Sounds like the same yahoos I saw changing a nasty diaper on a bench in the indoor Promenade on formal night, where everyone was going by en route to the Captain's party.

Re: Re: Worst Smell On A Cruise Ship

1. kippers on the breakfast buffet

2. dirty diaper being changed on a sofa in one of the promenade lounges - gross!

Re: Roll Call: Star Princess 11/21

Yes! (See my reply to your port and excursion question). There's quite a large roll call going on Cruise Critic and we have planned a get together. If you can't find it I'll post the info. here.

Re: Star Princess: Excursion and Port Help

Hey - my dad and I are sailing with you! My favorite in Cozumel is the Fury Catamaran (sometimes called "catamaran sail and snorkel," or something). Ride a huge catamaran to a good snorkeling spot...

Re: SERIOUS kid question

I teach high school and have been known to give the "bad eye" (and perhaps a talking to) to misbehaving kids on a cruise. I have done this only rarely: when a pack of tweens was playing hackey sack...

Re: Re: a warning for parents

I DO believe this can happen and if I witnessed it I would be in the creep's face and then at the purser's desk to report him. Heck, when I was a teen if someone had tried this with me I would have...

Re: Re: People that bring children on under age 8

Amen! I've been searching for one of these individuals on every board to no avail. Guess the parents of the brats don't go online.

Re: Legend 6/16 Roll call and advice?

Yes! My dad and I are sailing with you on 6/16. We were hoping there'd be a group forming on one of these boards to meet for a drink or something. But on Cruise Critic none of the folks seem...

Re: Why can't people roll with the punches?

Here here! I've also seen cruisers with their shorts in a wad over: prune juice not available in the dining room at dinner, skipping St. Maarten when there was a crazy on the loose with a gun...

Re: Re: early dinner or late dinner ???

Late. #1 Fewer children. #2 More time to relax and watch the sunset with a cocktail before dinner. #3 Good excuse to hit the pizzeria around 4:00. #4 Can reduce my casino time, thereby saving me...

Re: Re: in the pool

FWIW, the commercials for the swim diapers never show them being used in pools, only at the beach. Three words for the rule-breakers: Disney Cruise Lines.

My gripe is about the new eCruise ads - sometimes a string of them - that now pop up above posts. Could someone move these? Too annoying to read the board now.

Re: Re: Gees.. How much do U people DRINK!!?

IMO, sitting around counting how many drinks others consume is as big a waste of a cruise as spending the whole thing in a drunken stupor.

Re: Take your pills in private before you eat

Sorry, have to disagree with this one. Of course, the discussion of the medications I could do without. But if I'm at dinner and I feel a migraine coming on, I'm going to pop the pill. Discreetly,...

Re: Waking up to the reason you go...

This rat is a teacher and can usually only afford a windowless box. But she can easily leave the box and go to the outside decks, the outdoor buffet, the pool, and the ports.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: NCL Sea- first timer - 2/28/04

I love the Sea!! I will be sailing on her for the fourth time in March for the Texarribean run. When she's docked next to some of the RCCL and Carnival behemoths, she looks like the S.S. Minnow. ...
