Default Back-to-Back Cruises

Yes, we have. We did a Saturday to Saturday, then stayed one night in a hotel in Miami, then did a Sunday to Sunday. These cruises were on different cruise lines.

What in particular do you want to know about b-t-b cruises?

I am doing this in a couple of weeks. I will be on NOTS for 4 nights and then Majesty for 4 nights.

How did you manage with the laundry? Did they do it in the ship for you?

We checked into the hotel, which had a self service laundry. It was $2.00 to wash clothes, and the washer would have held about three socks and a shirt. Would have cost us a lot to do laundry there.

So........I rented a car, and drove all up and down highway A1A, and finally found a laundromat. They had washers big enough to hold a Volkswagen.

In retrospect, it probably didn't cost any more to get the car than it would have to do our laundry at the hotel.

But, on the other hand, if the itineraries are different..............If I go from the Radiance OTS to the Jewel OTS, the food is almost identical, the entertainment will be different, but in our case, it doesn't matter, because we rarely go to the shows.

We have done two b-t-b cruises, and are doing the Radiance OTS b-t-b beginning March 1. We have the same cabin for both cruises, so don't have to bother with packing/unpacking for the second cruise.

Well was looking for a 10+ day cruise and nothing really appealed to me but my TA suggested a 7day South C. then a 7 day South Carb. (different) ship with mostly new ports. The only thing was I had a day inbetween the two cruises so other than laundry and an additional hotel stay in San Juan, it sounds good. Just wanted to know peoples opinion and suggestions about doing something like this or not?

Well, for me, the longer the better. We would like to b2b2b, but money always gets in the way.

I don't know when you want to cruise, but you may want to consider the Explorer OTS sailing from Cape Liberty NJ on 2-1-09. It's a 12-night Southern Caribbean.

My last cruise was on the explorer and I have done both the East and West Caribbean's so I would prefer the South or long repositioning cruise. Thats why my TA asked about the the Back 2 Back on the Serenade and then the Adventure.
