My mother in law is going on a cruse with us and is insisting that she brings her robe. I don't have a problem bringing it but it does take up a bunch of space. Does anyone know if RCCL can provide a robe while on board?

Technically: Royal Caribbean doesn't supply robes until you are Platinum Level in their repeaters club or are in a suite. You can ask your room steward for one and, if one is available, they will give you one but don't count on it.
If she must have a robe then have her pack a thin one. Or you can be a "good" Son-in-law and tell her that, if she asks, she can get one and if she doesn't get one give her a really big t-shirt. ![]() Take care, Mike

Ask your mother-in-law to pack a light-weight housecoat and convince her that she will need the extra room in her luggage to pack the things she will definitely buy while cruising. There are nice "housecoats" that zip up the front that are light weight and comfortable.

To my knowledge, you can pre-purchase a robe.
I have the Royal Caribbean Visa card and as part of the rewards program, I have the option of obtaining 2 robes from Royal Caribbean. Just wanted to pass this along. Also, I do not think that a bulky robe would be necessary, unless you are sailing to Alaska. A lightweight robe would do nicely. Hope it helps. Diane |

I would suggest a thin satin robe, never a big bulky one to take along. It would take up too much room for all the other stuff you want to take or more importantly bring back. Does she have a BDay comming up before the cruise? Sounds like a good gift to me, tell her it is special just for the cruise!
