We got an upgrade...yes

We are sailing on the Grand Princess June 17 . We were upgraded from a category G obstructed view to a category D on the Plaza deck. The brochure says this room can accomodate 3rd and 4th persons. So does that mean that this room is a little larger than the category g. Any information you have about this room or this deck on the Grand is appreciated. We booked a category G on a garuntee and although it would have been just fine, we were thrilled to check the cabin assignments and get an upgrade. One week to go.

First get into the "cruse" area and then look for the 360 tour.

Adrian,
The size for D and G are the same size. The Cat D has 2 bunk beds that pull down from the wall. But you have a nice view and your on Plaza deck. One of the Dining rooms is on that level. Plus the Pursers Desk, and lobby bar are there. Great location!!
