As for the Owner's Suite, it is beautiful, but there is a real difference when you are mixing those desires with the desires of people who book inside cabins. On Seabourn the guests my be in an Owner's or Wintergarden Suite or in a standard suite (but may or may not be able to afford the upper suites) as they all are treated equally and have a far more in common when it comes to interests, etc. That allows for more appropriate entertainment choices of varying kinds.
It is less of being on a remote island and more being part of a society, if that makes sense.

Seabourn offers a significantly different experience than Oceania does, but I do have some Seabourn clients that have traveled on Oceania. Some accept the differences due to the itineraries and others will never go back. Each person's expectations really are different.
I am not sure if your friends have booked through a travel agent or directly with Seabourn, but if it is the latter, I am happy to speak to them and give them specifics. (I don't want to interfere with their relationship with a present travel agent, obviously.)
Seabourn had some excellent guest lecturers, brings local talent onboard, had a very good "band" and singers, but its four singers and dancers haven't really been very good.
I can only write so long in this so I send a second message.

Hi there, it's trackypup. My friends are on Odyssey 14 days, May 23rd, Venice to Istanbul. It's their first time on Seabourn. I was pretty shocked about their comments on Oceania, I would have thought they've have enjoyed it seeing as they had the owners suite.
