We have both at a local small airport and we're always hearing stories about mechanical problems, canceled or delayed flights, lost luggage, etc, etc.

On the other side of the coin are the prices. While they don't go everywhere and don't go as often as the big boys, they do offer some really great rates. So, people who haven't had any problems have nothing bad to say about them.

I guess it's like pretty much everything else anymore; you take your chances and hope for the best.

Personally, I would give them a try, but I would also make sure I purchased a good travel insurance policy, just to be on the safe side.
