RCL Liberty ofthe Seas September 10th from Barcelona
My wife booked us on this cruise, as she books every cruise we take, and I find myself trying to find people that have more of a spirit of adventure than the average tourist to share excursions with.
When we arrive in Rome (Civitavecchia), I do not want to be one of the sheep that heads over to the Vatican, instead, I hope to see more of the older things from the Roman Empire (when it was a great power), Medieval villages, temples, catacombs, etc.. For Naples, I am more interested in the eruptions from Mt. Vesuvius, so Herculaneum, Pompeii, and a visit to Mt. Vesuvius with a stop for a genuine Naples Pizza for lunch. If anyone on this site is interested in joining me, let me know and I will tell you where to sign up!

I suggest you look into the Royal Caribbean Werb site here on CruiseMates. We have a LOT of people going on Royal Caribbean in Erope.
