Default lugggae storage in room?

Hi all --

We're traveling on the Grandeur of the Seas Jan. 15. This is our first cruise, and we're sailing with our two daughter 11 and 13 and are in a oceanview room. We're wondering what kind of storage there is for luggage, as that will determine how we pack. All the other wonderful hints y'all have given have been awesome -- are expectations are high!!:-)

I always empty my larger pieces of luggage and slide them under the bed... I leave my smaller carryon out to throw small bags that I might have from the ports and things like that.

Hi Ab,
Yes, your luggage should slide under the bed with no problem. If for some reason they don't, you can ask your cabin attendant to store it for you.

Ab, if its closet space for the clothes you are concerned about, you should be okay. But within reason,,,,, dont try and transport your home wardrobes onto ship and remind your daughters of that !!!

You will have just over 4ft of rail space, about four shelves and 3 or 4 drawers storage

Yeah, the actual cases can be stored either under the bed or via the attendant.

You all have a good one and you picked a really nice ship to start your family cruising experience

David
