Default beach towels, pool towels

Do we need to pack beach towels? And what about pool towels, I assume they are on the boat. What type of shoes do the men wear in the dining room? My 15 year old son doesn't have "dress" shoes, they all wear "athletic-skateboard" shoes. And also is the dress the same for breakfast and lunch as it is in the evening? I'm having a hard time figuring out dress wear for the "teen boy",
Any help, advice is appreciated.

We just returned from the Destiny.

As far as the towels, they are in your cabin, take them to the pool or off ship for excursions, just make sure they get back there because you don't want to be charged for them. They will clean them and give you new ones, just make sure there are2 in your room when you leave(or as many as they give you for you people in your cabin).

Shoes, Hmmm Well I would say that sneakers aren't the shoe to wear in the diningroom for dinner. I know you can get some nice inexspensive shoes at like payless. The dress for lunch and breakfast isn't dressy. No swim suits or anything like that in the diningroom but normal casual dress. You don't have to dress up for dinner if you eat on the lido deck, so your son may enjoy that better. But it doesn't hurt anyone to get dressed up ones in a while. We had 2 formal nights at dinner and 2 casual( shorts could be worn) and the others normal dinner wear.

Hope this helps.

I was on The Triumph over Christmas and I loved it! Ima teen and there is so much to do on board. My guy friends wore a dress shirt and nice pants and there skatershoes. It looked fine! Yes they do give you towels in your room. We only had 2 but they brought us another one. What kind of cabin are ya'll getting? and are you going eastern or western? If you have any more quesion feel free to email me. I have a 7 page review of the ship to.
Have fun!

Do not worry about your teen son, he will find his own friends, and he will be fine. He will not eat with you in the main dining room for any formal dinners.
