Default Sunday Morning

Good morning 'mates! Houston is muggy and wet. It is supposed to get cooler this evening but we will see. I am watching the Carnival Magic making her turn in the Galveston yacht basin and preparing to back in to the harbor and the pier.

Tuesday, I will be at an interview for a position for a local college. If I obtain it, I can ply it into a multitude of options for the future. All I want to do is to make a great living so I can help my extended family.

Everyone have a wonderful day and enjoy yourselves.

Good morning everyone.

The weather has definitely went from late Summer to Winter in less than twelve hours. At 5:00 p.m. yesterday it was 64 degrees. It is 34 and misty now. I broke out the "official" winter coat.

Betty and I took advantage of yesterday's nice weather and did the final Fall cleanup. We took the screens down and swapped out the screens for glass on the storm doors. We then covered one set of patio furniture and brought the other one inside. I finished waterproofing my brother's trailer floor. Then we watched TV and did five loads of laundry. Not bad for a day that we thought would be a "nothing" day.

Today, definitely looks to be a "nothing day" with the weather outlook turning to a good chance of snow. Betty has some upper respiratory bug and laying low will be good for her. That's after she makes my breakfast, darns my socks and finishes the rest of her "woman's work". I will be killed soon thereafter.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday and don't forget that today is Veteran's Day. Remember and thank those who have served to keep our country safe.

Michael: Best of luck on the position.

Take care,
Mike

Good morning everyone. As Michael said, it is warm and muggy, with a very strong wind that took down our patio cover last night.

Yesterday I cleaned like a wild woman, so today, I will rest. After church there will be lots of football. Go Falcons!!

Michael, Good luck with the job interview.

Trip, How is Bruce this morning?

I spoke with Todd last night. His neighbor found him very sick, and called 911. He was in ICU last night, but was wishing to get out of there, and go to a regular room. Keep him in your prayers, and good thoughts.

I hope all all well. Have a good day.

Luanne

Hi Kids,
Bright & warm here today,& will be close to 70! Snow to 70 in less than a week...yikes.

Bruce was having a tough day yesterday, but..early evening, it seemed like a switch was flipped. Walking without a cane, getting up easily, and finally sleeping in bed last night....so things are on the upside, fingers crossed. Thanks Luanne....

Todd my prayers are with you...Michael, hope your postition comes through...Mike, hope Betty feels better...my yard, this year, just might stay as it is till the spring.....

Make it a good one.

Morning Mates, took a few moments at 11 a.m. to remember...

In the U.S. you mark Veterans' Day, in Canada, we mark Remembrance Day with a poppy.

Quiet day around here, cool but sunny, and we have an invitation to "tea" this afternoon with home-made meringues!
Had a great night last night with friends, playing Music Trivia - we won both games!

Trip, glad to hear Bruce is improving, but Todd, saddened to see you are back in hospital.
Sending out Get Well Wishes to you!

hi
It is fairly cool here this morning just looked at the temp and it is showing -4F or -19C. Just dropped by to say hi and rememger all of our veterans from both sides of the 49th. We are of to church for a special rememberance service, during the war one of our church members was a chaplain in the service and he brought back peices of stained glass from destroyed churches and we have them all put into a special window in the church.

Good Morning cruisemates! I am now happily settled for the winter in Scottsdale. Took a few days to get everything organized, but all is well now.

Went golfing yesterday, even though a bit of a cold front has moved into the area. Sun is shining today, but only heading to the mid 60s - which is way better than the cold and snow at home.

Going to an arts and crafts festival in Fountain Hills today (have to spend some time with Mrs. Kuki or she won't allow me to golf tomorrorw )

Mid 70s temps coming back in the new week, so looking forward to a good week ahead.

Sorry to read about Todd. Hope he bounces back quickly.

Default Sunday Morning

A late good morning to everyone. Winter has arrived in SoCal, too. The down comforter felt good on the bed last night, and jeans and a sweater feel good today.

Todd,Bruce, and Betty, I hope you're all feeling better today.

I'm hoping to talk Keith into lunch at Houstons and maybe share an entree salad and a bowl of Mexico City Soup.

Have a pleasant Sunday.

Judy

Good afternoon Mates

I send prayers and get well wishes to those who are ill

I wish Michael good luck in getting that position.

Also I want to tell everybody that Laker's Fan has finally had his power restored.
