Default Saturday is Here!

Morning Mates, Saturday is here at last and not a moment too soon. Work was especially frustrating this week, makes me just want to throw up my hands and give up. My co-worker pointed out this week that we are in trouble, as these kids are the generation that will be looking after us in our old age.

Absolutely no plans for the weekend, wil try to stay in and not spend money I don't have.
Looks like a good day for a good book.
Also hoping to hear some new about poor Lucy today, she is at the vets for the whole weekend.

Good morning everyone.

I've been up a long time but I am, just now, sitting down at the computer. I have made a couple of changes on my Asia cruise. We decided to go another route in Saigon and Bangkok. I am doing quite well with my knee so we decided to do it on our own and not go with the ship. Even with booking my own overnight hotels in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City we will save about $1500 and stay at the exact same hotels.

I have also pulled the screens off the doors and windows. I don't think there will be any more "nice" days to have the windows open.

Otherwise, we also have nothing on the agenda. It's cool and rainy outside so it may be a good day to catch up on the stuff on the Hopper.

Sharon: Your weather sounds just like ours.
Donna: I think our parents, probably said the same thing about our generation when we were young.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday and a wonderful weekend.

Take care,

I know they did. The older generations have been saying that about the younger generations for centuries.

Yet life goes on.

Now I'm saying......... Have a nice weekend everybody.

I guess Im glad we left the Pacific Northwest for our new home in sunny Mexico. Low thirties sounds cold since it is about 75 or so here with blue skies and a few puffy white clouds.

We are eagerly waiting for our December 16th cruise on the New Amsterdam so all is good but wish our guaranteed stateroom would be assigned so we would know where on the ship our digs will be.

Today has been absolutely beautiful in the Tidewater area of Virginia. I rose early and hit a few garage sales with little luck; garage sale season is petering out! Rob and I went out with friends for an early dinner; their grandsons came along. Tomorrow Rob and I are headed to MacArthur Mall to buy some Chanukah gifts. I want to finish the shopping before the crowds arrive. Hope everybody has a great weekend. Thoughts and prayers go out to those who are not feeling "up to snuff" and those that have sustained damage to their homes or are still without power.
