Default Never Trust Anyone Over ......

40

remember when that was the "catch phrase"..now that a :: "few":: of us will admit to being over that benchmark..I think it's time we came up with a new "catch phrase"

***political commentary edited***

or

"you never really know a CruiseMate who post on these boards until you have cruised with them on a CM group cruise"

or

"What happens at BLOG2NOLA won't be believed unless you are there to be a part of it"

what would be your benchmark catch phrase

That's why I don't trust myself. I am actually on 23 but my birth certificate says I am 53.

I was given a t-shirt for one of my "annual 39th" birhtdays, that has Annual 39th birthday air brushed beautifully across the front.

So... what would you consider "old," actually?

I can remember when I was about 20 and had a boss that was 26 and I thought he was old.

Now I'm looking at 60 and don't think that's old! What the heck!? Must be clean living... or younger friends... or something!

Age is just a number or a state of mind in my book. My avatar pic was taken when I was 56 and I'm now 61. It's the rest of my body that's shot.....

And a good looking 61 at that.

I guess I am vain and think I look a decade younger than my 53. When I was in my 20's, I thought 50 was old. Now... the way my health is, YES!. 50 is old. But I am young in mind and spirit. I see many people my age or younger and they look decades older. Rode hard and out up wet.

And to finish off, I seriously don't look at anybody or any age group as being "old". Since God took me in 2006 and was gracious enough to let me come back, I don't view the aged as being "aged" anymore. A lesson taught well.

On February 28th I will be 60. I finally live where I want to be. I have a job I love and I am happy. For me age is just a number as long as I am happy and healthy.

When I was a kid, the mail came by pony express, and we were carried to school in a buckboard wagon when the snow drifts were over six feet. Our school uniform was a toga. Nowdays, my wife has to pick up and move me once a week when she dusts the house. Other than that, I feel great.
