Default Your Opinion: Funniest Movie Scene

For me, the funniest movie scene is courtesy of the film "Porky's"

It is the scene immediately following the infamous shower scene, taking place in the Dean's office, where Miz Ballbricker demands to identify a certain offending private part through a criminal line-up. A sketch artist is offered up as a compromise, posters of the offending organ to be displayed all over campus.

I almost peed my pants watching this. My mother actually did.

Honourable mention goes to "There's Something about Mary"... the "Hair Gel" scene.

And of course: "A hospital? It's a big building with patients in it. But that's not important right now." I also liked the "Jive-Talking Grand-Ma" (Barbara Billingsley) in that one.

How about you?

the scene in Honeymoon in Las Vegas, where Nicolas Cage is at the airport standing in line and Ben Stein is asking the gate agent alot of questions about a future flight and Cage goes off on Stein

any scene from Undercover Brother

Default Funny Movie Scene

Almost anything from "Young Frankenstein". Gene Wilder to the late, great Marty Feldman: "You know, I'm quite a brilliant surgeon. I can fix that hump:. Feldman: "What hump"?

Wow, there are so many. The scenes already mentioned were great. Difficult to pick one:

Peter Sellers in Pink Panther movies - one is "does you dog bite?" scene.

Monthy Python, black knight vs white night fight.

The first one that came to mind was the "hair gel" scene in Something About Mary.
I also fondly remember laughing myself silly over the early Pink Panther movies, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstein., although individual gags escape my memory!
Most recently, the new Mr. Bean movie when he attempts to eat oysters for the first time. That man can act better with just his facial expressions than most actors with their whole bodies!

You're right about the "Hair Gel" scene from Something About Mary. Almost every scene in "Airplane", and my all time favorite, the "Camp Fire" scene from Blazing Saddles.

have to agree that the Blazing Saddles has some of the funniest scenes ever; would have to top my list.
The hair gel scene was a hoot in Something About Mary!;
a couple of scenes from Silent Movie top my list as well as the doll/puppet s*x scene in Team America. and of course, Austin Powers has a few belly laughs.

I can think of a few from Young Frankenstein:

When Gene Wilder stares at the massive doors on the castle and Teri Garr (wearing a clevage enhancing peasant blouse) is being lifted out of the carriage:

Wilder: Great knockers!
Garr: Thank you

When the blind man (Gene Hackman) lights the monsters finger on fire.
It wasn't until I saw it on video that I actually could hear the monster scream.

Any scene in Caddyshack that has Rodney, Ted Knight or Bill Murray in it.

Young Frankenstein of course.

Wedding Crashers when they're back at the house and eating dinner. When Owen Wilson is trying to describe the company they own and Vince is kind of "distracted". And the Grandmother too!

I laughed so hard at the first Austin Powers when he's in the bathroom stall next to Tom Arnold and he's fighting with the Irish henchman. "Who does Number 2 work for?!" lol

Just reading about these great movies/scenes makes me laugh! I don't think I have a "favorite" but one that always makes me howl is the scene in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation when Randy Quaid is emptying the holding tank on his "RV" into the sewer, standing there in his shorts, work boots, hunting cap, and smoking a cigar! And the sewer glowing green!

And too many scenes in Blazing Saddles to name!

"Would you get the bags?"

"OK: You take the blonde and I'll take the one in the turban."

I've got in too much trouble using that line.

Take care,

Nothing is funnier than when Austin Powers is in the hotel room with his new bride and plays with the remote for the TV.

After she shoots up the room with her machine gun jugglies and then blows up, Austin is holding her severed hand with the ring on and says with a forlorn look on his face:

"Vanessa, my bride, my one true love. The woman who taught me the true meaning of monogamy....was a fembot all along."

"Wait a tick!...Tha means I'm single again!!! Oh, behave!!!"

And then prcoeeds to dance naked through the hotel lobby ending in the water ballet scene. Classic!!

Machine gun jugglies..

My favorite one is in "Something about Mary" when Stiller gets caught in his zipper in the bathroom as a teen. I fell on the floor.

Second, in "Young Frankenstein" Feldman's hump moves from one side to another in different scenes.

In any "Pink Panther" movies, watching the other actors trying to keep a straight face as Sellers does his acting. Priceless.
