Iron's in staterroom
Does anyone know if the starter room's have irons in them? I have never had to iron so I never looked for one, but this time I may just wait to press some shirts if there are irons in the rooms.

I am not sure what a starter room is but no there are no irons in the cabins. Carnival ships do have self serve laundry facilities. Look on your ships deck plans to see where they are located. If your shirts are already ironed and get a little wrinkled you can try Downey Wrinkle Releaser on them. Spray lightly, smooth out or hang to dry. It works good. This last cruise I cut a dry cleaning bag into 4s and layered them between items and it worked great. No major wrinkles to worry about.

I too, have no idea what a starter room is.....you could also try bubble pack bewteen layers..rolling some items, of certain fabrics, with the cleaning bags, works good too..you can also hang the item in the bathroon, turn on the shower to hot, close the door, and let them steam wrinkles out...

Sems like I read on one of these board that Carnival is concerned about fire, and therefore, doesn't want irons in the rooms. I do have a steamer I have taken, and the wrinkle release works pretty well.

I like the idea that Carnival has irons and boards in their laundry facility. Get there early and you'll be fine.

I purchased a travel steamer and that works great!!! A travel steamer should run you about 20 to 30 dollars. It is very small and works effortlessly. Make sure you bring an extension cord. Cabins only have 1 outlet in the rooms
