Default Cruise Line for Kids

Has anyone had any other experience in travelling with young children on cruises? We have gone Carnival everytime and the kids love it. Almost get a complex they like playing in Camp Carnival so much.

My kids are 5 and 7 and they have already been on 3 cruises with another two week back to back scheduled for Feb 2009. We did a one week cruise with them in 2007 and did a back to back in Feb 2008 for two weeks. Asked them this year if they wanted Disney or another cruise and it wasn't even close, lol.

Have noticed some really nice cruise stops on RCL and Norwegian but want the kids to both be able to enjoy it and feel "welcomed" aboard the ship. Any insight and past experiences on other lines with young kids would be appreciated.

in my experience with royal caribbean my sister was 12 a didnt like it at all. i was a little older and really didnt like it. we have cruise 8 times since we were little. im 18 now and my sister is 14. our first cruise was at about the age of your kids now. but carnival in my opinion just does the best job with kids all the way up to teens. my entire family vote carnival all the way. just nothing compares to it. =)

Carnival would be the best choice. I love Carnival and a lot of people prefer Carnival over every other cruise line.

Definitely Carnival. Their kids program is excellent. Specifically the Conquest ship.

Yes, the Conquest class ships have huge play areas for Children. While probably the Spirit class ships have the smallest.

So if you are traveling with children who want to do Camp Carnival I would stay away from the Spirit class ships.
