Default What is considered foreign currency

Are Puerto Rico.....U.S. Virgin Islands consindered non foreign or foreign currency

Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands accept USD, so it should be considered non-foreign currency.

Foreign currency is currency that is not acceptable for debit payment in the US (according to the IRS). PR and USVI are US Territories and the unit of issue for currency is the USD....... Foreign currency is Mexican Peso's, Euro's, ect....... Hope this helps

I was just concerned after reading posts about credit card companies charging fees for foreign charges. I could call my cc company but you guys are so informative I thought I would throw it out here.
