Default Phone card questions...

Hi all I want tobuy a phone card, to call home when I am in San Juan and St Maarten. Is there any one card that people have used and had a good expierence with? There are so many, but I am afraid if I buy them I wont be able to use them in another country.
Also, has anyone used the internet cafe on ships? How much per minute is it?> THANKS ALL! 28 DAYS TOGO!!! COME ON VICTORY!!!!

The card will need "international service." People at each port will sell phone cards (at the dock...or just steps away). You might want to wait...buy one there.

As for Internet service:

[Connection about as fast as "dial-up"]

joann, don't know if you have a cell phone or not,but in san juan and st.thomas I have been able to use my cell phone. have never been
able to use it in st.martin. I have cellular one out of pa. and ohio.
check with your cellular carrier as to your type of service. my service
is called clear across america and I have never had roaming charges
to make these calls

joann also forget to mention about the phone cards. most of the islands got smart and figured out that it's another way to make money and
almost all of them will sell phone cards right at the pier and think the cost
is like 5 or 10 dollars for 10 minutes.
