Default Military discount

Just wondering if Serving and Retired Military Personal get any kind of discount/benefits when booking with Carnival or any other cruiseline?

Carnival gives good military discounts but also check out Interliner. We did Alaska last September for $1600/two!

I know Carnival does, because my hubby was in the Marines, but could not find his ID. Now he found it and all the military rooms were booked! You have to provide a copy front and back of your ID or those veteran affairs discharge papers. They told us they only had a couple rooms/floor devoted to military and that they were booking up quickly, so it may be hard to get one. The rooms they told me I would not want anyways...too close to the ocean! Of course every cruise is different. Hope it helped

My son is in the military. We found that discounts were for "selected sailings and itineraries". Not much of a selection or avaialbility.

Default Military Discount

Thanks so much everyone. We are military and never thought of asking. We are on our 5 cruise with Carnival. Would the discount be the same as past guest discount? I wonder???

I think the military discount is better than the past guest discount. I pick the cruise that I want and then ask about one. As mentioned in earlier posts, it depends on when and where. On one cruise I got $130.00 off for a solo. I'm going on the Miracle in March. Turns out that an oceanview was $20 per person cheaper than the inside special

I just booked on the Carnival Legend with a military discount. I was pleased with what they offered.
