I have a question about how to bid. For the past "month" I have been trying to get a downtown hotel in Ft. Lauderdale for Oct. 7th for one night. I choose the downtown area and put in $80.00....I have even checked off the "Beach area" as well....they have continually turned me down.....I know of a person who is staying at the Bahia in Nov. for $65.....is Oct. a more popular time?

Any suggestions?

You didnt mention which STAR level you were bidding. If 3 star, I'm surprised it wouldn't be accepted.

Add 4 star, and add $5... see if you do any better.
