Default Reposition Europe both ways?

I would like to go back to Europe and use a repo for 1 part of the trip. Seems flights cost the same or more for 1 way so I was thinking of buying a RT and using each leg for 1 repo cruise.

Basically in October Fly to Europe and repo back, then cruise in february back to europe and use the "return part" of the same ticket to fly back. Does that make sense?

2 repo cruises at 600 + 800 ticket is a month of sailing for 2 grand including transportation to and from europe. Only problem is the logistics of finding a buddy for each leg.

Has anyone done this sort of trip and have some tips?

Edit: Are there any repo's close enough you could use them b2b(besides using Qm2) with maybe a week in between?

Yes I have heard of people doing that. I guess they allow them to book an open return on the air.

You can usually get fair one way international flights fares from a TA.

Cunard is the only one that has them close enough for a B2B. My aunt & cousin did that although I did not see the logic of it.
