Default How do you safely keep your sea pass and id when you go to beach while cruising?

When you go to the beach to swim or snorkel what do you do to secure the following items: required - sea pass, drivers license for identification; optional -cash, credit card? Bathing suit pockets are unreliable.

Hi Bonny (may I call you that?) ...

We generally bring a beach bag in our suitcase. We travel with young kids, so we use the beach bag, to carry sand toys, cameras, water, snacks, beach blanket etc. I also keep our sea pass in there. You need it to get on/off the ship.

In all our years of cruising, we have never had anything stolen.

That being said, I'm sure I will be followed by several posts from people who have had things stolen from other passengers.

I take a backpack and just leave everything in there. I just always keep an eye on it when I'm in the water and if I go anywhere that I wouldn't be able to see it, I take it with me.

I've also never had a problem with anyone trying to steal it. Of course, it could happen.

I do see a lot of people with waterproof wallets/lanyards similar to this:

Sometimes you will find lockers to secure your stuff, otherwise if with a group and you want to swim, there is usually someone on the beach that can watch your stuff and take turns...
