Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Voyager of the Seas Eastern Caribbean November 27, 2004

One hour to board even though all documents done on line.Food is definitely on decline and Portafino special not worth the extra fee The only positive here was that desserts outstanding. One waiter for our table of ten and he also had to handle all of the wine pouringNo cheese offered even though showing on menu. Rcl needs to revise their buffet line and have special station. Too many lines with passengers waiting up to one hr. for free ice show tickets. Lunch menu the same every day in dining room with the addition of one special item. They do have a pasta station set up every day which is a nice touch.Gettin off the ship was an absolute nitemare and many will be missing their flights.

Without mentioning names was told by long term employee that food was being cut back and they did not see how Celebrity coud be doing so well in their Olympic dining room on Millinnium with so many waiters. Carnival also does better job in their special restaurant. This line does have a good following and on a large ship such as this one there is a lot to do.The secret of this ship is that they have one of the best cruise directors I have ever been associated with after some 30 cruises. The ice show is a real plus and definitely is first class and not to be missed There are 4 shows to pick from and they should not make you wait up to one hr.for tickets. They also ran out of numerous items on the last day at breakfest. They are appealing to a wide range of age groups and they do have activaties for all.All in all a decent cruise however not up to their partner Celebrity.
