Sovereign of the Seas

My husband and I wanted to take one last cruise on the SOS before she is moved out of the fleet. We decided to go all out and book a balcony room on a 4 night, 5 day cruise. Best decision we made.
Arrived at the port around 11:30 and on the ship by 12:15. We went to the Windjammer and had a bite to eat and by then we could check into our stateroom. Lots of room here, compared to the Oceanview Suites on deck 9.
Since it was just the two of us, we had no schedule and pretty much had a very relaxing vacation.
We went to Coco Cay the first day and the private island is always a place we find so nice. Beautiful weather, sunny skies and yummy Coco Locos.
Wednesday was Nassau and since we had been here so many times before, we only left to have a drink at Senor Frogs and buy some flavored rum. Thursday was our day at sea, and of course, we did see some of the chair hogs.
Saw all the shows except for the welcoming show on Monday night. Attended the Crown and Anchor Farewell and the Captain told us Monarch of the Seas will be replacing the Sovereign in November and Freedom of the Seas will be relocated to Port Canaveral sometime in May of 2009.
We had a wonderful time onboard, and anytime we passed a crew member we were always greeted warmly and asked how we were doing. Our room steward was excellent. She even tracked down the two bottles of Kahlua we had purchased onboard which had been delivered to the wrong stateroom.
We sure are going to miss the old girl.
