Boarding was quick. We were at the port early and on the ship by noon. I wasn't very pleased with this cruise. We had a good time, but this was my least favorite cruise.
The lunch selection at the Windjammer was awful. I walked around 2 or 3 times before I found something to put on my plate. Ended up with a salad and a wrap. Dinners were ok. Nothing special and the waiters were just ok. We've had friendlier waiters. Even the songs the waitstaff sang were more fun on different cruises.
Our Welcome Aboard pictures were never developed. There was a problem with the first 200 taken. There was an awful smell on Deck 11 right when you walked out to the pool area. It was there the entire cruise. I ordered a drink by the pool and after 30 minutes, never got it. There was never any ice in any of the ice machines and when I tried the ice cream it came out like soup. Sorrentos pizza was good and even though there was a charge for Johnny Rockets (I used my Crown & Anchor coupon) I thought the food was pretty good. Especially the milkshakes! It was always empty there though.
We never saw our cabin steward, but the cabins were always cleaned and had no complaints with that.
We had a beautiful sunny day in Nassau, but were not able to go to CoCo Cay because of the high waves. Everyone was really bummed out because the weather was sunny and hot. Everyone seemed very bored spending the day at sea.
In all, we did have a good time ,but on a scale one to ten, I'd rate this cruise a five. It wasn't awful, but out of the three cruises I've taken, it was my least favorite.
