I will probably not choose Sovereign of the Seas or Royal Caribbean again because of their incompetence in handling our Seapass account. We put this onboard account on our VISA card so of course, charges are immediately made. BUT, our cruise was cut short by one day so RCI was supposed to credit our account for $200 in compensation. I made sure to get a final Seapass statement before we left the ship and expected a credit of $486.29.
Now a week after returning, the ship only credited our account for $286.29. Now I have to wait several more days and many minutes on hold to try and get it corrected. I expect prompt attention to my account when a company is so quick to charge something to me. They are neither prompt nor accurate. Consider leaving your Seapass account on a cash basis to be settled in total before you leave the ship. They don't like it, but you cannot trust their accounting. I've learned from this mistake and it won't happen again.
