I just got back from a wonderful cruising experience onthe Soverign of the seas. This was the third time that I have taken a cruise. It was the first time bringing my kids on board. They are 12 and 6 years old. The childrens programs were great and the kids seemed very excited to be there. The service was wonderful. It was is I was on the sister ship the Majesty of The Seas ( di that one for 7 days 7 years ago, as my honeymoon cruise). The wait staff in the dining room were very attentive to everyone's needs including the kids that sat at my table for dinner. They went out of their way to accomodate everyone at the table .
We had great weather so we were able to go into Coco Cay. The island is nice , I prefered Labadee it was nicer scenery to look at. The bbq on the island was nice. My friends were disappointed because they wanted to parasail and it was concelled due to boating problems. They were compensated and gienthe opportunity to do another excursion. hey chose the wave runners. It was a very relaxing day. I would not spend the money to do the water park it is not all that.
We were able to go into Nassau. That port is ok. Check out Atlantis it is cool. We took a taxi and toured the city on our own. It was way cheaper. We also did the glass bottom boat tour of the island before going out to the reef to see the fish. It was OK. The tour on the way out was fine. They showed us a bunch of different houses but we not on the reef very long to see a whole lot. Overall the experence was was great and I woud do this ship again. Leslie Nida Melbourne Florida
