Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Navigator of the Seas by Caron Western Caribbean February 8, 2003

This was a truly great ship - built like a classic liner! We had booked an outside with balcony on a guarantee but were upgraded to a Catagory C suite - cabin #6394 which was very large and located at the stern of the ship - our balcony was great with an unobstructed view over the back of the ship.

The service and entertainment staff were great and I highly recommend the free shopping tours they offer in the ports. It was a great way to get oriented to the layout of the port and then you could either stay with them and get a paid ride back to the ship or wander around on your own and make your own way back to the ship later.

The food was good overall - we had room service breakfast every morning so we could eat out on the balcony - everything always arrived hot and fresh and they always sent way too much food!!

The entertainment was very good and the floorshows were some of the best I've seen. I have sailed twice before on RCCL and at least once on Holland America, Celebrity, NCL, and Celebrity.

I would definately plan on attending the ice show - it was a highlight of the trip and I went back twice because it was so well-done.

I am sure you will love this ship if you decide to sail on her - she is a real beauty with a great crew - say hi to Charles for me if you see him at his line dancing classes!
