Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Monarch of the Western Caribbean November 12, 2001

Ports: Key West, Cozumel, and Costa Maya Room 8554

Pre-Cruise-Stayed at the Comfort Suites Convention Center. Visited the Los Olas area. Hotel provides free shuttle from airport/cruise terminal.

Room-Obstructed oceanview room. The room was small. Closet space was sufficient. Hair dryer/shampoo/soap provided. We boarded at 11:15 and by 5:00 our luggage had not been delivered. I contacted the purser and they said not all luggage had been delivered. I was walking one deck above my floor and found my luggage setting in the hallway. This was the only problem I had the entire cruise.

Dining Room-Flower Drum Song. Waiter and busboy were excellent. Food was great. Dinner is the only meal that you have together with your assigned table.

Ports-Key West, Cozumel, Costa Maya. We took snorkeling excursions at all three ports. The waters in Key West were rough. Costa Maya was my favorite dive port with beautiful coral. Didn't do a lot of shopping but you could spend all your port time shopping in Cozumel.

Entertainment-Included comedian, jugglers, and shows were excellent. There were several lounges with different types of music. Matt Yee at the piano bar on the Schooner Bar always drew a crowd.

It was a great 5 day cruise. We were off the ship by 9:30.
