Let me first say that I'm a gold member of Royal Carribean and the service was great. However the way they blackjack you for every little thing really frosted me!!!

Surprised at the expense and the downward food selection. Ever hear of a chocolate donut? Sorry to say prison food at best. The breakfast menu never changed and the dinners were nothing to brag about. Why in the world would you put chocolate night in the centrum with lines up the stairs and then a poor selection of anything chocolate? Some bean counter got a hold of this cruise line.

I'm thinking of using someone else in the future. Loyalty's a two way street.

SAN DIEGO is a nice city but I'm from a big city and aside from the MIDWAY aircraft carrier, I've seen that before, a real nice city.

Now I liked Catalina Island a lot. Took the tour to the top. It's a real beautiful island with great shopping.

Ensenada had some great shopping, but you've got to watch what you buy there. They give a price. I went down 50% or more and got a few really nice things cheap downtown and in La Bufadora outside of town.

Had some real crummy weather but met lots of nice people. But me and the wife were amazed at the downturn or just plain price gouging of a captive audiance by RCCL. They used to be special and you felt the same. Now it seems they went the way of the airlines watching the bottom line.

We had a nice time but I don't pay top dollar for average to poor. What the heck happend to this cruise line?? You will have a good time, but don't expect anything special.

Don't know if I will ever make Platinum.
