Nile River Cruise Celebration Cruise Lines Bahamas Celebration by K. Bryant Bahamas May 6, 2010
I sailed on Celebration Cruise Lines Bahamas Celebration last month and had a great experience!
Things I Loved: Food- I highly recommend trying the Beef Wellington, it was amazing. Everything else was very well prepared and flavorful. The first night we ate in Crystal, the second in Rio's.
My cabin attendant was extremely nice and helpful and it seemed that rang true through the entire staff. Everyone said hello to us as we walked by and was there to help when we need it.
The comedian - Steve Zimmerman was hysterical. We went to the late showing and it was definitely adult oriented so check if you are with your kids, I'm sure the earlier show probably has cleaner jokes.
Things I didnt like: You have to get converters from the concierge desk or your steward because it's a European ship so your blow dryer, cell phone charger etc. wont work without the converter.
They dont have the gangway built yet (its under construction) so you have to walk down steep stairs when you get to Freeport. They had a very small elevator for those that couldnt go up the stairs.
Speaking of elevators, they are extremely slow in the main part of the ship. I took the stairs since they were faster.
The safety drills were completely unorganized. Definitely need to work on those.
All in all, I had a really great time and plan on going again next month. It was a easy weekend getaway.
