We had a wonderful 11 night cruise around the Hawaiian Islands and Fanning Island. This is my thrid cruise and Norweigan Wind was fine - I was worried by all the bad reviews. It is an older style ship and my one compliant is not enought space for dining. I don't care for freestyle dining - would rather have set dinners.
Always had lines and waits for meals. Meal service was slow and that became a frustration. Great activities - making leis, Hawaiian lectures, etc on days at seas. Otherwise this cruise was great! Were were on the 5th level in the back of the obat in an oceanview cabin - very compfortable. I didn't get sea sick but the sway of the boat is much more than when we cruised the Caribbean. Most passengers were older but there were activites of interest for younger folks.
