We cruised on the NCL Majesty January 20-27, 2007. This was our fourth cruise with NCL, we really enjoy the freestyle dining options. Considering the bargain this cruise was and considering this is one of the smallest ships in the fleet. We had a wonderful time on our cruise. For what the Majesty lacks in glamour and glitz, it far makes up for this in charm and ambiance.
The cabins were a bit small and showing their age, but had everything one would need. The food was great; we generally ate earlier in the evening and had no problem being seated. The wait staff was great; they were friendly and went out of their way to make sure you were happy. The cruise director’s staff on the Majesty was superb; they work together like a well oiled machine and go far beyond their duties for the guests. The entertainment, now may I begin by saying the theatre area is small compared to larger ships, having said that, the performers were outstanding. We saw the performers all around the ship and they were all very friendly and approachable. If you are looking for a good bargain cruise and want to be treated like family, take a spin on the Majesty.
