Norwegian Cruise Line Norwegian Dawn by Camilster Eastern Caribbean March 8, 2003

The new Norwegian Dawn is a perfect example of the new awakenings in the travel world of cruising. The ship is a stellar example of beauty and class. It evokes a feeling of relaxation as well as excitement through offerings like spa treatments in the Mandara Spa and relaxation areas as well as magnificent lively theatrical musical performances. The cabins are kept impeccably clean. The Hotel Manager and staff are eager to see that the ship is in perfect order. The Food and Beverage Director makes his rounds accordingly and sees to it that all food is fresh. We found the gourmet dining room a delight as well as the Teppanyaki table. The waiters cater to passengers and make dining a delight. Not only is the ship a magnificent luxurious beauty, she also houses rare art of Picasso and Warhol, et.al. The glass elevators allow passengers to soak in the elegant views withing while the many large windows allow passengers to see the tranquil Caribbean sea as well. The route is common; however, NOTHING is common about this ship. She is fabulous. The concierge, Ms. Rio, is a real help. She quickly responds when called as does the Hotel Manager.

The ship is kept impeccably clean ...with fingerprints wiped from glass and wooden surfaces. The addition of a "soft drink card" allows passengers unlimited soft drinks by purchasing a sticker for their shipboard charge card. The gift shop and atrium shop are both filled with nice treasures. Boarding and deboarding are easy....a rarity with a ship with as many passengers as the Norwegian Dawn. We wish all passengers could enjoy cruising with the NCL Dawn the way we did. A joy!
