Finally after many months of cedit card company intervention with NCL I am writing this review. NCL home office and customer service leaves a lot to be desired with regard to service and customer satisfaction. Wife and I chose NCL to celebrate anniversary and first cruise on the Crown from Miami to Philadelphia repositioning after ship returned from South America. Flights and transfers from upstate New York purchased through NCL as part of package. After arriving in Miami passengers boarded buses and dropped off at a shopping mall for hours because ship was being cleaned and inspected by CDC. The passengers were never given an explanation.
I found this information post cruise. Arrival in Philadelphia luggage lost and buses to airport very chaotic with rude drivers who dropped passengers off at wrong terminal. Wife and I decided to rent a car from airport instead of approximately 10 hours of airport layovers in Philadelphia and Dulles for a flight that normally would be only 1 hour. Home office of NCL appears to rely on deception and misinformation with regard to customer inquires and concerns. NCL will never have a second chance to take advantage of me as a cruiser. The Crown and it's crew during the cruise itself were the only bright moments during this entire ordeal. The crew were very friendly and the on board service was first rate. It is shameful that a large corporation selling a service to the traveling public could act with such indifference. Planning our next cruise vacation already but NCL not considered nor will ever be in the mix. Thank-You
