This ship deserves it's number one rating for mid-size cruise ships. The captain, the officers, all contact crew, and even those not normally thought to be contact, are univesally friendly, courteous, and helpful. From the "no-sweat" embarcation to the very comfortable debarcation we had nothing but what one would expect from a quality cruise.
The food in the dining room and Lido deck was uniformly tasty and well presented. However, the menu was somewhat smaller than we remembered from previous cruises. None-the-less, no complaints.
The cabin, number 8116 on the Navigation deck, was comfortable and provided plenty of storage space. The bathroom was large enough to dry off in without hitting the walls.
On board entertainment was sufficient and appropriate for an older, more adult crowd. There are plenty of music and dancing venues to suit any taste. (Well, maybe not for the younger set). We particularly liked the Ocean Bar and the Crossover group.
The only criticism would be for the on-board shopping guide. She came off as a blatant shill for the selected )recommended??) stores.
