CruiseMates' Readers Cruise Reviews

Costa Cruises Costa Concordia by Barbara from California Western Mediterranean May 4, 2008

The first thing I have to say is that this cruise line needs to seriously review their food appreciation by passengers.

We expected it to be great and literally lost weight on this cruise because the food was so bad.

Other than the food, the service was great!

Wonderful shopping, shows and excursions.

With the exception of Tunisia, which should be looked into as a place to restructure the guide choices, all the ports were wonderful.

The other thing needing to be fixed is the smoking! We could not sit anywhere without being bombarded by second-hand smoke. We kept saying to each other, haven't these people heard that smoking can kill you?

We would not take another Costa cruise because of mainly the food and the smoking. The food issue was huge and many other passengers we asked felt the same way about it. Yuck! Fix the food, Costa!
