We arrived at the pier in Rome at around midday and it took us about 15 minutes to get through check in and onto the ship as soon as you walk onto the ship adults are offered a glass of champagne and children are offered a glass of orange juice. We felt very welcome to be onboard at had a look around the ship and had lunch at the buffet style restaurant. What we were really impressed with is that celebrity gets the lifeboat drill all over and done with before leaving the port. We had our evening meal at the main dining room and really enjoyed the great quality food that was served. Our waiter was very friendly and was a very hard working person. The kids absolutely loved the kids and teen club and found many good friends onboard. The shore excursions were good but pricey. The drinks were also very expensive so we bought packages and they worked great for us. The passengers onboard were all very friendly and mainly consisted of Americans, Canadians and British people with some French passengers. We would definitely recommend Celebrity Cruises to anybody.
