My fifth cruise, age 65-70. The main and almost only reason we go crusing is to dance every night from 7-8 PM to 1- 2 AM. Swing Swing SWing not any of the waltz slow motion dancing.
The Lounge which offered a band was undependable. Seldom there and if they were they would break ~40-50 minutes and play 10-15 minutes. This was thier last cruise so that may have had something to do with it? Carnival Capers would list a band playing every night but when you went to that area there would be some other activity etc.
The cruise director, Corey, was unresponsive with his comment "Put it on the comment card".
If it had not been for a gentleman playing in the promanade in front of the bar and casino there basically would not have been a place to dance. There were other places but they did not play dance music and wouldn't take request. A group of us spent our time on the promanade between the bar and promanade dancing but that was not a good place to dance.
* The food was good. * Other than above the service was good. * Cabins good * Ship was beatiful * The shows were of the highest quality * So Called comedy shows were not funny, to say the least. There are good clean comedians in this world but I have never found one on a Carnival ship.
It was a satisfactory value for the money but we won't be on it again until we forget there is no dancing.
